Courses for indigenous students
Check out courses for indigenous students at Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE. We offer more than 300 courses covering over 20 industries. Whether you want to be a hairdresser, mechanic in the mines, teacher, business owner or chef, we have a course that'll suit you. You can also choose one of our Indigenous-specific courses in art, culture, numeracy or literacy and primary health care.
Support for indigenous students
Our Indigenous support program means that all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students have help whenever they need it - whether it's just for a chat, to access free counselling or find your way around campus. Our friendly staff are here to help.
Course fees
There may be ways we can help you out with course fees through exemptions. Fees also depend on whether you are full-time, part-time or studying externally.
